Vtech Touch and Teach Turtle   I bought this for my one year old. He enjoyed it the first couple of days, but now doesn't really play with it much. Once in a blue moon I will catch him flipping the pages. I think the pictures in the book are cute but the turtle overall is nothing great. Just OK   I got this for my (then) 18 month old daughter. She flipped through a few of the pages, pressed a few buttons and then lost interest. She's now 2 years old and still doesn't really play with this. At first she wanted to press the letters themselves to hear the sounds/songs and not the button above it. If I sit down with her and talk about the letter & sounds she sits and pays attention. But on her own it gets forgotten. Vtech Turtle   Its a great toy, and keeps our 2 & 3 year old granddaughters interested. Its appealing to the eye, and she was excited the minute she opened it. I am not sure how well it will hold up with the pages being made of cardboard, but we shall see. Overall, well worth the price. My son doesn't really play with it   This seemed like a good toy but it just isn't intresting to my son; he is almost two. But it is bright, educational and fun to play with whenever my son decides to play with it (which is only a 5 min interval). When it comes to toys like these he prefers to play with his baby touch reader or one of those electronic books. Manufacturers Recommended age is actually 12+ months   I just bought this toy for my son, on the box it actually says 12+ months not what Amazon has listed in the details (24m-6years?). So this is a great toy for a 1yo if anyone had any doubts=-)
